We are hiring for a Network Specialist who can play pivotal role within the delivery team, responsible for the expansion and optimization of the network infrastructure. As a highly visible position, you will play a crucial role in building a faster, more secure network environment to serve the organization and the multitude of users who interact with the platform monthly
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science / Engineering with minimum of 3 years of experience in SRE, Linux systems administration and Network Engineering;
- Familiarity with common tasks and projects in Data Center Operations;
- Proficiency with optical transport technologies such as CWDM/DWDM;
- Experience with configuration management tools like Saltstack, Puppet, or Ansible;
- Knowledge and exposure to Network Protocols, Topologies, and Enterprise architecture;
- Ability to write comprehensive network configuration and design documentation;
- Proficiency in problem-solving through automation and scripting for internal tools;
- Strong understanding of BGP and anycast routing;
- Familiarity with Juniper Junos, Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, and Arista EOS;
- Experience with load balancing and reverse proxies such as Nginx, Varnish, HAProxy, Apache;
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
- Certification in relevant areas such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent;
Responsibilities
- Provision, monitor, and maintain hardware and software within the network domain;
- Create documentation and oversee contractors for network installations and upgrades, coordinating with hardware manufacturers, network providers, logistics partners, and other service providers;
- Plan and execute network and server installations, ensuring facility power, cooling, security/access, rack layout, and cable management align with operational requirements;
- Develop and maintain documentation, plans, SOPs, and MOPs;
- Collaborate with internal teams for day-to-day activities and assist in defining and implementing consistent processes across all regions;
- Ensure all projects adhere to strict security standards, maintain proper documentation and compliance, and facilitate a seamless handover to operations teams post-deployment.
