We are looking for a Head/AVP – IT for one of our Leading Insurance Clients.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Should have handled/managed application production support.
  • Should have implemented projects in above technical applications.
  • Should be able to guide teams on work break-down, allocation & issue resolution.
  • Knowledge and experience in multi-system integrated environments.
  • Hands on in preparing Business Specification Document & System Requirement Specification Document
  • Sound knowledge of SDLC and models like Agile, Waterfall, etc.Experience of Insurance domain will be a great advantage.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • B.E. with minimum 15+ years of work experience.
  • Preferrable Technical Skills
  • Knowledge and experience of business applications like issuance system, .Net/Java based applications, Oracle/SQL database technologies. UI/UX capability.
  • Knowledge of messaging platforms like Whatsapp, SMS, Email, etc.Knowledge of new technologies like BOTs, AI, Machine Learning will be an added advantage. (Desirable)
  • Orientation – Understands best practices and applies in customer experience, journey mapping, including impact of technology like AI/ML/RPA/BOTS.
  • Strong research skills to identify market trends and emerging capabilities.
  • Experience on working on Portal/Web Applications and across technology stack.
  • Technology Skills – Providing technical and architectural insights along with solution design.

Responsibilities
 

  • Identify & recommend opportunities for improvement in terms of design, maintenance, and upkeep of application systems.
  • Coordination with different technology, project, and user teams for successful project delivery.
  • Requirement gathering and project task prioritizing as per available resources/bandwidth.
  • Vendor/User management Supporting business as usual functionalities for implemented/identified projects.
  • Drive uptime/upkeep of application systems as per defined SLAs.
  • Drive and achieve timely closure of projects, audit actionable and other milestones as defined in IT Roadmap.
  • Should have done Projects in Digital/Technology Transformation for clients.
  • Measuring project success via designated key indicators – Benefits, Savings, TAT, etc.
