We are looking for a seasoned Project Governance & Quality Assurance Manager to elevate and streamline our project management frameworks and procedures. The successful candidate will drive improvements in project methodologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the delivery of consistent, high-quality results. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a strong dedication to maintaining rigorous quality assurance and governance standards.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent; 
  • Should have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in managing projects through all phases of the SDLC, from inception to completion;
  • A Formal training and certification in project management methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2;
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance practices, capable of independently conducting reviews, inspections, and assessments;
  • Proficiency in English with strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities;
  • Proven expertise in analyzing project data and generating insightful reports to enhance decision-making;
  •  Required experience in project audits, governance, and compliance, coupled with meticulous attention to detail;
  • A positive, patient attitude towards managing multiple assignments ensures consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • PMP and Agile certified;
  • Knowledge of project management software tools like MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana;

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine project management methodologies to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with organizational objectives;
  • Conduct thorough inspections of each SDLC phase, ensuring adherence to criteria, timelines, budgets, and quality standards;
  • Review project plans, resource allocations, and risk management strategies to identify issues and provide actionable feedback;
  • Oversee Project Managers’ adherence to established practices through rigorous governance and compliance checks;
  • Perform comprehensive QA reviews to verify the presence, completeness, and quality of all project artifacts;
  • Conduct detailed project reviews and assessments, offering strategic feedback and recommendations to senior management for ongoing improvement;
  • Lead project and quality-related discussions, formalize outcomes, and ensure effective follow-up on agreed actions
  • Provide operational support to facilitate smooth project execution and promptly address any emerging issues;
